New Yearling

4 reflections

these were in the garden in the far, far away. i dont' know their name in english but here the name end on "ling" and connotes something small, emerging and cute. for me they have always been the sign of a new year and a promise of spring to come.

this year has not been easy on me. the stress will not end until i have found my new home but i trust that the search, the move, the new home-to-be will be the beginning of easier times. i have high hopes for the new year. for myself, for my parents who are also in the moving process, for my sister who will be moving too and for my loving, loved and lovely friends.

as mentioned, people in the bloggosphere often make me smile. this sphere is still new to me and i relish the acquaintance. so i send out wishes of A Great New Year to the sweet spirits in this sphere...

back again

i found this butterfly on the grass in the far, far away land that i've just returned from. slowly flapping its wings it was impossible to tell whether it was dying or flying.

the far, far away was good. although mostly foggy, there were a few days with bright, crisp sun and two days of hard frost so that everything was blinking in a glittery fashion.

i haven't any stories to tell these days so i'll post some pictures from far, far away over the next days. plastering a log with pretty pictures seems like a good way to glide through the transition from this (awful) year to the new one that will be absolutely fabulous. trust me, it will.

...and thank you for some lovely comments on the last couple of frustrated posts i did... you people out there in the bloggosphere can make me smile, even on the darkest day.
