it looks like i found a new home. it's an apartment in a very old house where windows and doors are warped in ways that would appeal to DalĂ. it's much smaller than the one i live in now but it's bigger than what i thought my budget would allow. i'm trying to be all nonchelant about it, trying to keep my cool untill the deal is settled. it's complicated because it's a swop and there are still a few weeks to wait through before i'll know with a 100% certainty. and i'm extra nervous because i waited so long... it's been almost two years since it dawned on me that the combo of financial crisis and the way my life became after i got sick would force me to move out of this wonderful home of mine. [long, boring story of woe and bad luck cut out here.] but i'm feeling hope, i'm beginning to believe that soon i will finally move. and perhaps i'll wake up in a few months and smile at this crooked doorway, this strangely shaped door... imagine; my bad luck finally over?!??
cross your fingers with me, please :-)

My fingers are definitely crossed for you! I love the quirkiness of the crooked doorway and strangely shaped door. Can't wait to see how you make it your own! x Bel
Dear Stella, I'm crossing my fingers with you!!! It looks like you "have a feeling" about this place becoming yours :) so, imagine yourself living happily there and I will do the same :*

thank you both! i just wish you weren't so extremely far away... then i could ask you for a walk and we would look at the house from the outside.
