enough!

received what has to be my last pelargonium parcel for this season. there is simply no more room. i have to give more away.... ? or maybe i should just be content with what i have, which is a lot, i guess. hmm, that is a hard option when there are still so many pretty ones out there...
anyway, i got this parcel, and every possible corner is now occupied by pelargoniums. some of them are in bloom but most are still only growing. obviously i want all of them to bloom. wildly. in abundance. all at the same time. constantly. but that's not going to happen any time soon. hm? i reckon it's the sun. the pellies like it warm & sunny, but hot & blazing seems to be too much. and no, i cannot be bothered to move them around every single day. i do love them, but they too have to grow up!
... about the growing up: i survived another birthday, pheew! and apart from the wonderful presents & surprises i got, here's what my new friends gave me:


P.sidoides in a glorious purple that not even my father's new, fancy camera can catch correctly. it is a deep, bluish lilac that would be a dream colour for a galla dress...
